For my Public Affairs Communications class I had to choose a notable person to to write a mock Op-Ed in their point of view. I decided to write my Op-Ed in the point of view of one of my favorite actors, Matthew McConaughey. I have admired McConaughey's response to the events that unfolded in his hometown of Uvalde, Texas, so I chose to write about a cause that he has vocally supported: the ban of assault style weapons in the United States.
